Having a rhythm...

robbunting

What can we do every day to prevent low mood? Having a rhythm to the day is effective. This can mean doing the same things every day when you wake up such as taking a few minutes to quietly set an intention. Not going straight to your phone to check social media but instead getting outside into Nature first thing. Delaying reading or listening to the News is also helpful as the negative bias of news stories first thing in the morning can influence our mood for the day, so maybe limit the News feed to lunchtime.

Speaking to other people and being social is also a key action in relation to our mood... so make sure to say 'hi' even if it is to strangers.

Carving out time, even a few minutes, each day to exercise also really helps.

Enjoy today... for it will soon be gone.
