S̄wạs̄dī txn chêā
In the Pali language, there is an expression...
"Dittha dhamma sukha vihāri" which means
"To dwell happily in the present moment, in this very lifetime". When we are mindful, living fully in this very moment... not one part of our Mind is thinking about doing the washing up and another part of our Mind thinking about work or television. We are fully engaged. Calm and focused and content in what ever we are supposed to be doing this moment. There is always opportunity for contentedness within us... we only have to see it to then experience it. This then positively affects those around us.
Try today to really focus on making that cup of tea or doing the washing up.
