The greater our awareness of ourselves, the greater the potential to control our lives and be content. Having an understanding of what we feel, both in our mind and body, is a first step towards understanding 'the why' of what we feel.
Our inner and outer environment is always in a state of change. We are impacted in hundreds of ways every day and this is why mindfulness practice is a recognized recovery approach to emotional trauma.
