Cutting the mind lawn...

If we don't go home for a month what would we find when we got back there?

The grass would be really long! There might be cobwebs. The post would be piled up in the hallway and the houseplants would be all wilted from not having been watered.

Most of the time, when we are walking we are not aware of our walking, or when we are standing we are not really aware we are stading. The ame can be said for eating, sitting or working as we are not truly aware of these actions.

So when we 'do come home' to ourseleves in those brief moments, we can sometimes experience untidiness and chaos.

Mindfulness and breathing allows us to look after the home of our Mind a little better...

So today, maybe spend a little time watering the mind plants or cutting your mind lawn?
