Deep under the surface ...

robbunting

There is a Buddhist text that compares the nature of our Mind to an Ocean. When a person is angry, the anger is what we are reacting to, not the person. The anger is like the white crested waves that break on the surface. What we are not seeing is the depths of the person, the what and why of the anger that is deep down in the ocean of their Mind.

We need to be like deep sea divers and explorers, choosing to explore and discover in order to notice and understand. Deep down under the waves might well be something different to anger, maybe sadness, fear or loneliness.

Let's all try to be deep sea divers

Have a wonderful day
