Go on ... make a change!

As humans, we think our 'suffering' comes from external factors and the solutions also come from outside of us... someone behaves in a clumsy way that irritates us, something happens at work or even on the way to work which results in us feeling hard-done-by. We then 'want' that person to apologise, that work decision to be changed or for the traffic to disappear. However as we explore in psychotherapy and Buddhist psychology, we have very little influence over external factors. It is our Mind that creates the version of reality which enables us to 'suffer'.
Everything can 'look and feel different' if we simply choose to alter our view ... if we make a conscious choice to not react we will see the situation or person differently. Experimenting every day with making small adjustments to how we think, speak and act gives us control... We suffer less, feel more peaceful and as a result live a more contented life
Go on ... make a change! if you keep doing the same things you keep getting the same results.
