How much time do we spend wishing that people loved us or liked us more?
This is how attachment works... it makes us worry about how much attention we are getting.
"Am I loved enough? am I getting enough praise or smiles from those around me?"
But, if we flip it and let the attachment go...
Now ask yourself how much time do we spend each and every day loving others or looking for ways to make people smile or feel good. By doing this our own happiness and joy will come naturally.
Our happiness is not based on external 'stuff' and things that we crave or desire... happiness is within us, it is internal and is amplified when we give happiness to others.
So when you read this message why not think...
"who can I make happy today? who can I make smile or laugh?"
