"Wake up and smell the coffee!"

robbunting

We take our senses for granted. Our senses influence us, even though we are blissfully unaware... a smell can trigger a memory, a sound can trigger an emotion.

What we see, read, taste, smell and feel are all absorbed and if we are not mind-full, can create sensory overload.

If we expose ourselves to loud, aggressive television programmes for instance, or always being on our mobile phones comparing ourselves to the 'perfect people', will damage us in much the same way eating too much junk food will make us ill.

In essence, we become what we see, feel read, taste and hear... so, for today, join me and try to be more aware of the 'sensory food' you absorb.
