Have you heard of Non-Objective Referencing? In simple terms it means we, as humans, are constantly comparing all aspects of our lives with others. How much money we earn, what car we drive, which restaurants we eat in, how much sex we are having blah blah blah!
We could actually 'objectively' be doing really well in life terms, but as long as we continue to compare we won't feel happy or fulfilled.
Social media encourages this unhealthy behavior and as a result frustration and unhappiness prevail.
What should we do? Stop comparing and instead just be grateful for what we have.
