How about we practice just 'listening'...

robbunting

If we wish to be great at listening we must put ourselves to one side so there is nothing between us and the other person. We must be aware of learned behaviours or judgements which can get between us. We must also be aware of moods or mental preoccupations that could take up space. If we are busy thinking of our own troubles or tangled up in our 'list of things to do' then we can't be fully present. This will show when a person looks into our eyes and can sense we are there but not there.

The empty space between two people can be both powerful and peaceful so we can listen.

Wishing you a happy-ness day
